Actions and Implementation

The various elements comprising the dynamics of the "Living Better Together" project are divided into four areas. Each of these areas corresponds to a specific objective of the project.

Axis 1 - Discovery of the Other's Culture, in all its forms

Set of activities that were offered to the "internal" public of the SSE in Liège



  • The "Breakfast Club" brings together people from diverse backgrounds each week to share, discover, and understand the world. Through activities and projects, members collectively develop their sense of belonging to a community, thus promoting their emancipation from isolation and the boundaries of their neighborhood.
  • Activities are also offered during school holidays for the training audience within the SSE of Liège.


Axis 2 - Opening up individuals and families to the neighborhood and the city

Cet axe est subdivisé en deux parties :





• Axis 2A

Joint participation of internal and external audiences of the non-profit organization in socio-cultural activities in Liège, as well as various visits such as outings to the "Caravansérail" theater, the river shuttle, and shows.





• Axis 2B

Co-organizing activities with various partners, always in

this openness to others like:

• international Women's Rights Day

• The neighborhood party  "Bressoux-Droixhe s’ouvre à vous";

• music festivals

• the Halloween festivities

• the Bressoux-Droixhe Soup Festival

• the End of Year Celebrations at the Maison de l’Etang

• The Maison de l'Etang : open every Wednesday afternoon






Axis 3 - Implementation of Concrete Projects





The actions of this initiative stem directly from the proposals, requests, or desires of the residents of the Bressoux - Droixhe neighborhood.

Crasse Attacks (2022) : a participatory project aimed at uniting the residents of Bressoux-Droixhe around the cleanliness of the neighborhood, making them active in its maintenance.

Soap Workshops (2024): Initiated by a local resident, we provide logistical and educational support for these soap-making workshops, aiming for their complete autonomy.

The Friends of the Pond: a group of volunteer citizens working to strengthen social cohesion in Droixhe through public space. Their goal is to make the park a prime location for exchanges and a focal point of the neighborhood's social life.






Axis 4 - Involvement in the neighborhood association collective






We are actively involved in the Collectif Autour de l’Étang (CAE), the key coordination of associations and public services in Bressoux-Droixhe.

Our goal? To energize the neighborhood and ensure the success of the "Better Living Together" project by:

  • Co-organizing major events to create connections.
  • Networking social actors .
  • Building bridges between all populations.

Our active participation in the CAE office ensures effective collaboration on the ground.
